Doug Leeds: 1947-2011

It is with deep sadness that the Institute notes the death of Doug Leeds, founder and chief executive officer of StoreBoard Media, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

A long-time supporter of the NMCUV and its predecessor, Hoyt Publishing, Leeds is best known in the marketing world as ceo of Thomson-Leeds, a leading P-O-P firm that he guided for more than 30 years.

Those fortunate enough to have known Leeds personally will also remember him as being among the kindest people they've ever encountered.
